Jesus said, “If people want to follow me, they must give up the things they want. They must be willing to give up their lives daily to follow me.” Luke 9:23 (NCV). Surrendering to God is the heart of worship. It is the natural response to God’s amazing love and mercy. We give ourselves to him, not out of fear or duty, but in love. Offering yourself to God is what worship is all about.
